Hi Seth. Scary. So, is this new disease is virus based? I wonder about the evolution of this new viral species. Sounds pretty "Zombie" to me.
ReplyDeleteThe most prevalent worry in terms of the tick transmitted diseases is called Powassan. It causes encephalitis and meningitis but starts off similar to lymes disease. This Is a good link form the CDC http://www.cdc.gov/powassan/symptoms.html. It is becoming more and more common as the years progress but is still pretty rare.
