The Charles River and other streams, and more than 4,000 miles of water that are open for pollution. If something bad happened to them, they could jeopardize drinking water. One bad leak or dump and it could ruin, canoeing and swimming in the summer and fishing and the drinking water all year around. It could come to no drinking, bathing or cleaning, due to infected water. Companies have found ways to get around the Clean Water Act, making it possible to dump in the water.
We did our video on this topic! Yes, big companies with a monopoly on industries of the economy are using their political power to ignore the Clean Water Act. If only there was a way to make disposing of chemicals responsibly more easy and cheap than disposing of them irresponsibly.
ReplyDeleteI agree! If there was another easy way to dispose the chemicals and dump, this wouldn't be a problem. A system that filters the waste or trash should be made where you can just put waste.
