Boston Breaks 20 year snowfall record, the last holder of the record was the winter of 1995-96. But in the winter of 1995-96 they actually had a higher seasonal snowfall compared to 2014-15 seasonal snowfall. But was breaking the record really that important? Lots say no, this winter brought tons of problems for homeowner for example ice dams and roofs leaking. This winter has been long and hard for many, constantly shoveling snow and more snow after that. Many are glad it’s finally over.

Although the seasonal snow fall might not have been the highest, there still was an exceptionally large amount of snowfall for your 2014-2015 winter. The fact that it was so high compared to previous years indicates that this is a cause of climate change. This is also affecting California. Here in California we are in the middle of a really extreme drought that is believed to be caused by climate change.
