  1. First of all, LOVE the title. Second of all, I happen to love owls, and am saddened by the thought of their extinction, especially by the fact that we are causing it. We are doing so through changes in agricultural practices, accidents, hunting, insecticides, and so forth. However I think that this could be easily prevented if people put effort into helping the species and caring for them. It says in your article that owls adapt to artificial settings and are not fussy when it comes to their habitats, so if we set aside land for them to live in, even if it is alongside us, or made more regulations regarding them and spoke up about their impending doom, surely their species will be able to reinvent itself.
