Massachusetts rivers are at risk of being polluted by oil companies because they use the rivers as sewer for their waste.

  1. i do seem to find this kind of problem very gross and disturbing. can you think of how many animals are killed in the process of the rivers being polluted. not even counting contaminated water, think how many water animals die of just being suffocated by trash that roams these rivers. i do find this a huge problem. do you know by any chance what we are doing to help this problem?

  2. This is crazy. and did you also know that oil comoanies mine oil right next to water aquifers and the drinking water is contaminated all the time. How are oil companies getting away with this?

  3. I can not believe the nerve of some companies who feel the need to dump their chemicals to the precious ecosystems that, from what I've been reading about in other articles, are already suffering. The article explained that 2 million miles of streams could possibly be contaminated, effecting 117 million Americans. In my honest opinion, if these companies are putting half of the population at risk just to dump their waste, (which I may add, are so powerful that the military is using them as weapons) then we definitely have more problems than just the pollution.
