Storm After Storm in Boston. Boston breaking the record by 3 inches of snow. By February 2015 Boston had 64.8 inches of snow. The winter for Boston was a long stormy winter. Boston had beat the record of the inches of snow, one wicked winter for us.

I wonder why on the east coast you are having such a big winter and in the west coast we are getting almost no snow.
ReplyDeleteThis seems like a very important subject. There has been lots of extreme weather recently (California drought, texas floods, east coast snow), and it might be linked with global warming. I read a Washington Post article about it and apparently air moisture and water temperature are higher than ever before, which is the cause of it. These things are some of the effects of global warming. Hopefully this doesn't turn into a scenario like the movie "The Day After Tomorrow"!
ReplyDeleteI agree that Boston has sure taken on some major snow fall. And the drastic weather changes and differences across the nation are very alarming. Global warming is a very significant contributing factor to these insane weather problems. These disasters must stop. We all are not helpless we must make a difference and begin the change ASAP.
ReplyDeleteI think this issue is yet another major contribution to the big problem area of global warming. When the article says, "In just two years, we've had three of the top seven heaviest snowstorms in Boston." That really spoke to me, and reminded me that global warming is much more drastic than most people believe. Although, no one can stop snowstorms from occuring, everyone can become more educated and help in some way about global warming,
ReplyDeletethis does seem to be a problem in the areas of certain places not being prepared for this kinda of drastic weather change. were places in or around boston damaged by this abnormal snow fall? how did you guys adapt? we are currently having a drought and the snow here has been terrible, not a very good snowboarding season, sadly. however thats not really the worst problem. we are low on clean fresh water.
ReplyDeleteI wish there was some efficient way to transport all the extra water you guys are getting to California because of the drought. Maybe underground long range waterways?
